It was a nice day outside. The sun is out and the city which looked quite flat on my arrival yesterday now seems clean and bright, and maybe interesting, but I won’t have time to find that out.
I spent most of the day inside. Finishing a project for a friend. Emails. Photographs. Recharging electrical items, but not myself. It’s not until I got to a hot spring near the hostel in the evening that I can switch off a little.
The heat in the pool and sauna is intense and hard to enjoy in the moment, but the feeling when you get out, dry off, and can feel your body radiating with the heat it’s absorbed is magic.
I find it hard to move from the seat i’m in – a leather chair with cushions which inflate then deflate, putting pressure on your legs and feet and massaging them in a way you’d only see in an informercial.
I need to get up early tomorrow to finish some things off whilst I have wifi and electricity, and I still need to plan my route for the next few days. That’s if I can ever leave this chair..
